Former Enyimba Captain defender, Chinedu Udoji is dead.

The Kano pillars defender was involved in a ghastly motor accident in Kano yesterday night.

Udoji was the Man of the match in the weekend’s encounter between Kano Pillars and Enyimba which ended in a draw.

The Kano-based club has released a statement via their Twitter handle this morning.

Chinedu Udoji was involved in a car accident yesterday after visiting his former team mates at Enyimba. This tragic accident happened along Club Road in Kano. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, fans, and football lovers all across the country.
