Kwara United new boy Lucas Alves has stated that his objective is winning the Nigeria Professional football league title with the club.

Lucas Alves was unveiled by Kwara United on Tuesday as the team continues their preparation for the forthcoming 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league season.

The 25-year-old Brazilian winger joins the likes of Michael Ohanu, Adesina Gata, Afeez Nosiru, and Dele Aiyenugba to sign for the Harmony Boys.

While speaking on his arrival at the club, Alves said he’s happy to play in the Nigeria top flight and hoping to inspire them into their first league title.

“I started playing top football in Brazil, a few years in Corinthians and other best academies in Brazil. I won a few championships and cups before I moved to America and spent five years. I’m now in Africa, Nigeria and I’m happy to play for Kwara United and hopefully, we can win the championship” he said.

Before joining Kwara United, Alves played only for Corinthians and Pao De Acucar in Brazil before moving to America, where he played for Seahorses LOS ANGELES.
