The 23 year-old last turned out for Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia, but he is yet to feature for Os Encarnados this season in all competitions.
He suffered a long term injury during pre-season last term, and was out of action for almost nine months.
Nigeria will face Brazil, for only the second time at senior level, on October 13 at the National Stadium in Singapore.
