Nigeria U20 MNT head Coach, Ladan Bosso says his next target is to guide Nigeria to winning the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia.

Nigeria, yet to taste success at the World Cup, despite winning the U17 edition a record five times.

The Flying Eagles have reached FIFA U-20 World Cup final, in 1989 and 2005.

Fresh from winning THE bronze medal at the U29 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Bosso is upbeat his team can conquer the world in Indonesia.

“Our fresh target is doing very well at the FIFA World Cup,” Bosso said during the reception organized for the team in Abuja.

“That is our next target, and we will work hard to ensure we bring the trophy to Nigeria.”

Nigeria, current Champions Senegal, Gambia and Tunisia are the four African representatives at the World Cup.
