Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonke has returned to action after three weeks on the sidelines.
Bonke injured his ankle while representing Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ghana in Kumasi last month.
He missed the second leg of the encounter in Abuja and has been sidelined since.
However, Bonke made his return with his Ligue 1 side FC Lorient against Nice on Sunday.
He started the game, but was substituted by in the second half.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Terem Moffi also played a part in the game, but failed to find the back of the net.
Nice won the game 2-1, no thanks to a brace from Andy Delort.
Armad Lauriente got Lorient’s only goal of the game.
