Super Eagles midfielder, Innocent Bonke and 17 year-old defender Isaac James both featured in FC Lorient’s preseason match against FC Nantes on Wednesday.
Bonke started the game but was subbed off subsequently, while, James got action off the bench for Lorient.
The match ended 1-1, Moses Simon was not named for Nantes as he continued his recovery from an ankle discomfort.
It’s been two years since Bonke featured for Nigeria, and the 28 year-old midfielder is not close to gaining the attention of National team selectors.
On the club front, the Midfielder has entered the last season of his contract, but it seems he will stay at least through the early stages of the campaign as Lorient will seek an immediate return to the Ligue 1.
