Nigerian forward Victor Boniface is certainly making a name for himself in the Bundesliga, by winning his second Rookie of the Month award.

Bundesliga on Friday via their X account confirmed the Nigerian international successfully retained the award he won in August.

This time he beat RB Leipzig midfielder, Xavi Simons and Hoffenheim’s forward Maximilian Beier to the award.

Winning back to back rookie of the month award is a remarkable achievement, for Boniface who signed for the club in July from Union Saint-Gilloise.

The performance of the 22-year-old for Bayer Leverkusen has been outstanding.

His contributions to Bayer Leverkusen, with two goals and three assists in just four appearances in September, highlight his impact in the German elite division.

Overall, the 22 year-old now has nine goals and three assists in 10 matches for Xavi Alonso’s side.
