A last gasp goal saw Bologna pick a point against Udinese in a Serie A match on Saturday at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
Udinese took the lead through Stefano Okaka in the 33rd minute for his fifth goal of the season.
The visitors were however pushed back and had to defend for the most part.
Their Nigerian Center Back William Troost-Ekong was busy all night as the Bianconeri chased their first win in seven games.
Ekong made eight clearances and won four aerial duels playing the entire duration of the game.
However, there was little he could do to stop the hosts from hitting the back of the net.
Former Inter Milan man Rodrigo Palacio scored from inside the box in additional time to ensure a share of the spoils.
Udinese’s Technical Director Pierpaol Marino described the result as a “bitter draw”.
“It is a bitter draw because it comes in injury time after an excellent first half played by Udinese,” siad Marino.
“In the second half, Bologna created problems for us because they strongly wanted the draw and obtained it perhaps when nobody expected him to do it, but I would not even want a draw on a difficult field like this to pass like a defeat.”
