Akwa United boss Kennedy Boboye has shift focus to the midweek game against Gombe United, after their disappointing moments draw against Shooting Stars.
The Champions played out a 1-1 draw with the Oluyole Warriors at the Lekan Salami Stadium last Sunday.
Akwa United were few second away from securing the maximum points, before Shooting Stars got an equaliser with the last kick of the game.
Boboye was disappointed with outcome of the game, but he now has turned his attention to the game against Gombe United slated for Wednesday at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.
“We wanted to win against Shooting Stars and we were so close, but we got a point and dropped two points there, and that’s disappointing.”
“But we the next game at home is important and we have pick three points against Gombe United.” he told brila.net
