Kennedy Boboye is set to replace Fidelis Ilechukwu as Plateau United head coach.

Boboye is ready to return to management after spending the last twelve months on sabbatical.

The former Lobi Stars and Akwa United boss recently completed a coaching program in Europe.​

According to reports, the discussions about a contract is advancing well, and a deal could be sealed by the end of the week.

Plateau United is a familiar territory for the Coach as he won the league with them in 2017.

Kennedy Boboye has not managed since 2021 after he was sacked Akwa United.
