Rwanda shut Nigeria out in their opening group C match at the 2018 African Nations Championship at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangier.
The Amavubi set up to frustrate the better team on the night and achieved the aim of picking a point in the game and keep second spot in the group open.

Earlier in the day, Libya defeated Equatorial Guinea 2-0 to top the group.
Nigeria next play Libya on 19 January at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangier.
