Coach of embattled NPFL side Kwara united FC Abdullahi Biffo has stated that the Ilorin based side will not relent in it effort to ensure they keep the club’s NPFL status.
He made this remark after a breakout of protest of fans on the club’s management following a string of poor result which got filled to the brim following last Sunday’s 1-0 home loses to Lobi stars of Makurdi.
Biffo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team isn’t as bad as the standing on the league table may have suggested citing the late takeover of Delta Force as major cause of the problem.
Delta Force side were placed 19th as at takeover and already had the Harmony Boys inherit a liability of bad start from the Delta Force side.
“The problem people are looking at where we find ourselves but they forget that when we take over the team was on 19th position on the log.
“At this particular point we don’t want to relent on our efforts until we are completely safe from the drop zone.
“It is unfortunate that when we took over, we had to put everything together psychologically and otherwise to make sure that where the team stand before then does not affect the players.” He concluded.
