President of NPFL side Remo Stars and Beyond Limits Academy, Kunle Soname has disclosed that the management of Beyond Limits is currently deliberating on whether to participate in the NPFL or sell their league slot to an interested party.

In a recent statement, Soname emphasized that football, for them, is a business rather than a social service.

He explained that Beyond Limits’ management is assessing their capability to handle the financial and logistical demands of playing in the NPFL.

The decision will determine whether they proceed with playing in the league or explore the option of monetizing their NPFL status by selling their league slot.

“Football for us is not social service, it is business. The management of Beyond Limits, they will sit together, they are already sitting together to see if they can cope with the challenges and vigor of the Premiership. Vis a vis financial commitments and also physical commitments,” said the Club President.

“If they feel they are up to it, 100% of me. If they think they are not up to it, then they’ll have to think about other ways of monetizing their laurel.”

It has been rumoured that the management of the club has been in negotiations with relegated Sporting Lagos regarding the potential sale of the league status.
