Super Eagles CB, Benjamin Tanimu has expressed his ambition to achieve promotion to the English Championship with his new club, Crawley Town.
Tanimu joined the EFL League One side from Singida Black Stars where he had been since February, on transfer deadline day.
However, his arrival was delayed due to issues related to his entry visa.
The former Bendel Insurance player has signed a three-year contract with Crawley Town and has finally joined his teammates in the club.
Speaking on the club’s official website about his goals upon arriving in England, Tanimu stated,
“I am here to give my best and to do more.
Promotion to the Championship will be the main target.”
Crawley Town, known as the ‘Red Devils,’ currently sits 17th in the 24-team English League One, having earned seven points from six matches.
