Ben Iroha urges current Eagles players to be game-driven

Former Super Eagles player Benedict Iroha has urged current players of the national team to give more and be driven by the game so as to ensure the national team fully gets to benefit from the quality of individual players in the national team.

Iroha speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the current national team is equally blessed with talented players like his own generation but just need to find their motivation in the love for the game which players in his own generation had unlike now where money seems to be the only motivating factor.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu has stated that the selection of goalkeepers for this summer’s AFCON in Egypt isn’t closed yet as much as the current trio of Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi may seem to have popular nod to be the final three shot-stoppers at in the AFCON.
Agu told www.brila.net that the goalkeepers are expected to be on top of their games at club level which indicates a level of demand from the shot-stoppers stating clearly that should any of them fall far short of this expectation, and someone elsewhere gets to perform, then the need for replacement becomes necessary so as to ensure that the best hands represent Nigeria at all times.
