Nigeria-born England and Wycombe Wanderers forward, Adebayo Saheed Akinfenwa has been named in the English Football League’s team of the year.

Akinfenwa is enjoying another massive year in League Two as he was also named in the League Two team of the season recently due to his top performance for Wycombe over the current campaign.

The big player popularly called ‘The Beast’ has been fantastic this season in front of goals and in general team play with 17 league goals and 12 Assists so far.

The 35-year-old Akinfenwa narrowly missed out on the League two player of the year as he came second to Accrington’s Billy Kee.
