Reports have swirled in recent weeks suggesting that Victor Osimhen is on the radar of Bayern Munich as replacement for Harry Kane, sparking a frenzy in the Turkish media.
However, those reports have now been dismissed by Bayern insider Christian Falk, who clarified that the striker is currently not part of the club’s plans for next summer.
According to Falk, while there is appreciation for Osimhen within the Bayern hierarchy and the club’s board is aware of the speculation surrounding his future, no concrete move is being considered at this time.
One of the major factors complicating any potential deal is the high valuation placed on the striker by Galatasaray, which makes a transfer financially difficult.
The German champions are instead focused on securing the future of Kane.
Harry Kane is under contract until June 30, 2027, and Bayern are already planning discussions to extend his deal as they look to keep their leading striker at the club for the long term.

Reports in the German press also indicate that Bayern manager Vincent Kompany is a strong admirer of Osimhen and has personally expressed his desire for the club to pursue the Nigerian forward as a long term successor to Kane.

Despite that admiration, Bayern’s leadership is reluctant to invest heavily in a striker over the age of 25.
The club is currently satisfied with Kane’s performances since his arrival, with the England international continuing to deliver goals consistently for the Bavarian side.
With Kane firmly established as Bayern’s main striker and the club prioritizing contract stability, a move for Osimhen is not being considered for the immediate future despite the continued speculation surrounding the Nigerian forward.
