Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey was in action for Ajax in their league game against FC Utrecht on Sunday.
Bassey started his second consecutive league game for his club, since returning from suspension and helped them to a perfect 2-0 success at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
The 22 year-old was on for the entire duration of the game and had 74 touches of the ball.
He completed 56 passes at a success rate of 90.3%. He also completed two (2) of the three (3) long balls he attempted.
In addition, he made 3 clearances, 1 successful tackle and won 2 of the 5 duels contested.
Steven Berghuis and Brian Brobbey scored the goals as Ajax maintained their perfect start to the campaign.
Bassey and his teammates will be back at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Saturday, September 3 when Ajax welcome SC Cambuur for their Matchday 5 fixture.
