Flamingoes Coach Bala Nkiyu insists the team is not under any pressure heading into the second-leg of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Cameroon despite a disappointing first-leg result in Benin.
The Flamingoes forced the Young Lionesses to a 2-2 result and now walk a tight-rope; at risk of failing to qualify for the tournament.
Cameroon did not concede in the only game at home in the qualifiers, crushing Algeria 11-0 on aggregate in the first round.
But, the Nigerian Coach, Nkiyu is not perturbed and rather argues that Cameroon will have bigger concerns on matchday, 17 February at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé.
Three Countries will represent Africa at the 6th edition of the tournament to be hosted by Uruguay.
