Nigeria International, Azubuike Okechukwu has been recognized for his outstanding performance for Yeni Malatyaspor last season, with TRT Spor Canlı naming him in their Team of the Season.

Okechukwu, 20, played twenty-nine matches last term in the Turkish 1.Lig and also helped the club gain promotion to the Super Lig.

The Midfielder shared the news on Twitter on Wednesday. He tweeted: “Feeling very honoured to be named in the Turkish lig 1 team of the year, Thanks to GOD, my team mates and the fans🙏. Can’t wait 4 super lig.”

The former Bayelsa United player’s form has seen him court interests from big guns Galatasaray S.K. and Beşiktaş J.K. per allnigeriasoccer.
