Ayodeji warns Sports ministry against Federations election

Member of the House committee on Sports Ayodeji Joseph has stated that the election into the different Sports Federation must not go on against the call from the House of Assembly after the house summoned the Minister to show up to clarify the new guidelines.
Ayodeji in a chat with brila.net said should the election go ahead without any appearance or hearing with the Minister, the election will be null and void and aggrieved candidates will have express right to go to the civil the court.
“Any election that goes ahead without resolution by the national assembly is null and void, it cannot hold because we make laws for the country and we have said that they should come and explain why they want to amend the law. If they go ahead, any member of the association can easily go to court and will win because every law that is contrary to the law of a country is null and void because the law of the country is supreme.”
