Awoniyi’s fourth goal in six games sink Borussia Dortmund

Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi continues his scintillating form as he scored one of the goals for Union Berlin in their 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Friday.

Awoniyi scored the first goal when he left his marker in cold to plant a powerful header from a corner past Roman Burki in the 57th minute.

The on-loan forward from Liverpool has now scored his fourth goal in six Bundesliga games so far this season.

The lead, however, lasted for three minutes as youngster Youssoufa Moukoko restored the parity for Dortmund.

Union Berlin sealed the victory in the 78th minute, with Marvin Friedrich scoring the winning goal off Cedric Teuchert’s assist.
