Chidozie Awaziem saw 90 minutes of action for CD Leganes in their Spanish La Liga game with Sevilla at the Ramon Pizjuan stadium on Sunday.

Leganes still just a solitary victory after fourteen game in the league this season travelled to the Julen Lopetegui side with the hope of securing a point to booster their chance of avoiding relegation.

However Diego Carlos scored the game’s only goal for Sevilla in the 68 minutes to condemn the Javier Aguirre’s side to another loss.

Meanwhile Awaziem’s comparatriot Kenneth Omeruo was missing in action, after he failed to recover from the injury he sustained.

Leganes are sitting in bottom place of the table with just a win from fifteen games.
