Malaga defender Martin Demichelis has announced his retirement from professional football. Ekiti State based Afe Babalola Football Club have been stopped from further participation in the 2016/2017 Bet9ja Nigeria National League for contravening the League rules. According to the League management, the club violated articles 14.7,14.10 and 14.11 of the rules guiding the League.
