Ekiti State based Afe Babalola Football Club have been stopped from further participation in the 2016/2017 Bet9ja Nigeria National League for contravening the League rules. According to the League management, the club violated articles 14.7,14.10 and 14.11 of the rules guiding the League. Afe Babalola cumulatively failed to honour three (3) matches ,article 14.11 rule ,they failed to honour their games with : 1. Adamawa United 2. FC Taraba and 3.
