Jose Mourinho has been accused of defrauding tax authorities by Spanish prosecutors for a sum of £2.9million (€3.3m) during his time at Real Madrid. Spanish prosecutors said on Tuesday they had filed a claim against the Manchester United manager on two counts of tax fraud dating back to when he coached Real. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists Cristiano Ronaldo won’t leave this summer. Perez addressed the issue yesterday after being re-elected as president. He denied claims Real had failed to publicly defend him against claims made by the Spanish tax authorities. “We made a note on the web defending him.
