Italian club Atalanta is set to deliberate on the future of their star striker Ademola Lookman following a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad.
The 26-year-old forward has garnered significant interest from Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
Now, the Saudi Pro League club has joined the chase, expressing their desire to negotiate a deal.
Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb reports that Atalanta has already received an official bid from Al Ittihad.
The club confirmed, “We have received an official offer (for Lookman) from Al Ittihad. We will see what’s best for the player and discuss it with the club.”
Lookman was a key performer for Atalanta last season, highlighted by his hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
His performance earned him the title of Atalanta’s Player of the Season, with a record of 17 goals and 10 assists in all competitions under manager Gian Piero Gasperini.
Lookman who was recently voted as player if the year has two and half year left on his current contract with Atalanta.
