Atalanta Could Dominate Serie A if Ademola Lookman Stays – Capello

Legendary Italian tactician, Fabio Capello believes keeping Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman could be crucila to Atalanta’s Serie A title prospect this season.

Lookman, who netted 15 goals for Atalanta last season and scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final, has been the subject of transfer interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal. Despite the offers, Atalanta is determined to keep him.

Capello praised Atalanta’s recent acquisitions, including the signing of Bellanova, adding that keeping Lookman the team is important as well.

“I liked Atalanta’s moves, with the arrival of Bellanova, a great signing. And if Lookman stays, watch out for Gasp (Gasperini),” Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ademola Lookman has not featured in Atalanta’s first two matches of the new season, which include a 4-0 win over Lecce and a 2-1 loss to Torino.
