Italian Serie A side Atalanta has confirmed receiving offers for Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, along with interest from top European teams.

Lookman had an impressive campaign at Atalanta last season where the 26-year-old forward registered 17 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

However he turned heads with his performance in the final of the UEFA Europa League, where he scored a hat-trick for Atalanta to help them to a comprehensive 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen, who had gone unbeaten throughout the entire season.

The club on Friday said they’ve received offers from the Saudi club and other top European teams.

” We have received an official offer from Al-Ittihad, but Atalanta has not yet received any offer, given the Saudi club’s desire to first find an agreement with us.

There are also requests for information from other European clubs on the player’s future and their position regarding the possibility of a departure.”

We will see what is best for the player and discuss it with his clubs'” a club statement read.

Clubs including Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United have also been linked with the former Everton man.
