At 36! Etafia reveals reason for his return to active football

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Greg Etafia has revealed reason for his return to active football after a three year break from the game with stint as goalkeeper coach at Premier Soccer league side Baroka FC before signing for Highlands park in the South African PSL.

Etafia, 36, told brila.net that he chose to come back because of his love for the game and he stated that he has greatly missed been out of the game as a goalkeeper.
He added that he sent practical on his decision after consultation and been given a clean bill of health that he can still carry on for as long as his body can still carry him.
“Everything is not about money, I decided to come back into the game because of my love for the game and I have missed the game so much. I also feel I still have what it takes to continue and carry on in the game for as long as my body can carry me.”
Etafia stressed that at this point, playing for him comes with a load of experience.
He, however, plays as back up to Highlands park first choice goalkeeper Thela Ngobeni.
