The Super Falcons could be without star striker, Asisat Oshoala for Thursday’s FIFA Women’s World Cup grop B match against Australia.
Oshoala is battling for fitness after picking a knock in Nigeria’s first game against Canada at the Rectangular Stadium.
The 28 year-old held her hamstring towards the end of the game, raising concerns over her availability for the crunch tie against the Matildas.
Should the Forward fail to shake off the injury, Randy Waldrum however has plenty of options to call upon, including Desire Oparanozie (who is returning from injury), Jennifer Echegini, Gift Monday and Uchenna Kanu.
