Former Super Eagles head coach, Christian Chukwu has urged the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to expedite the decision on who will manage the national team ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
With less than two weeks before the crucial matches, Chukwu stressed the importance of appointing a head coach, whether local or foreign, to ensure proper preparation and strategy for the team.

Speaking with Brila.net, Chukwu expressed concerns over the uncertainty surrounding the coaching role.
He mentioned hearing rumors about a potential appointment but noted that time is running out for the team to get organized.
“I heard that NFF wants to give an indigenous coach a temporary job before they get a foreign coach. I don’t know their plans, but it’s getting later as we have a match in September. I don’t know their plans now,” Chukwu stated.
