Italian Serie A giants AS Roma on Friday hailed Super Eagles over their 2-0 win against Iceland in their Group D fixture at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Rome-based Italian club side had earlier adopted the Super Eagles of Nigeria as their World Cup team since Italy could not make it to the FIFA Mundial.
Leicester City’s forward Ahmed Musa netted a stunning brace as Nigeria beat Iceland 2-0 in their second Group D fixture at the 2018 World Cup.
Congratulations @NGSuperEagles 👋
