Nigerian table tennis star Quadri Aruna has qualified for the semifinal of the WTT Star Contender in Doha.
The Nigerian recorded an outstanding victory over China’s Zhou Qihao in the quarter final match up played on Wednesday.
The African number one table tennis players was on unstoppable as he defeat the Chinese 3-0 (11-8, 11-8, 11-7).
However, Zhou Qihao is the third Chinese to fall to the Nigerian at the ongoing tournament in Doha.
Following the victory, Aruna became the first African to reach the semifinal stage of the WTT Star Contender.
He will now face South Korea’s Lim Jonghoon in the semifinal of the Men’s Singles in Qatar.
