Arsenal look to Alex Iwobi for Inspiration against Watford

Ahead of their premier League game against Watford on Sunday, Arsenal desperately need a win and are hoping to inspire the team with Alex Iwobi’s performance against the Hornets in the past.

Arsenal’s official twitter handle shared a video on its thread of the youngster’s strike against Watford at the Emirates from two seasons ago.

A scintillating strike inside the box teed up by Alexis Sanchez set Arsenal on the way to a 4-0 win at the Emirates on that occasion.

The 21-year-old has so far scored two goals in his four games against Watford since he broke into the first team.

Iwobi was rested for the Europa League win against AC Milan at the San Siro, but could be recalled to the starting line up in Today’s home game.

So far this season, the forward has scored only two goals in 18 appearances for the Gunners and one of those came against a London-based side, making Today’s game a potentially, exciting match for the Super Eagles man.

Arsenal are without a win in the last three English football matches (2 league, 1 Carabao Cup) and Manager, Arsene Wenger remains under pressure with the club in sixth position, 13 points outside the top four.
