Arsenal legend highlights Bukayo Saka’s potentials

Arsenal legend, Charlie Nicholas has pointed out the key attributes of English footballer of Nigerian descent Bukayo Saka saying the 18-year-old will be a star but  he should not yet be a regular starter in Arsenal’s attack.

Saka, who has been hugely impressive starting the Gunners’ last four Premier League games this season, has scored one and provided two assists in his one Europa League appearance.

Not forgetting, the superb assist he provided in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United last month.

However, the former Arsenal striker is impressed with the qualities of the Gunners’ youngster  prompting him to criticize  Unai Emery and the pundit also insisted that the youngster is going right to the top.

“He’s picking strange attacking formations at the moment. I like Saka. He’s going to be a star,” he told reporters.

“But at the moment, when Lacazette’s fit, it’s Lacazette, Aubameyang and Pepe. He’s got to do more or else, he’ll be left out. And Ceballos behind them. That’s the front four.”

It would be recalled that Saka, who came off the bench to replace Granit Xhaka in the 61st minute of the Gunners draw with Crystal Palace at the Emirates last Sunday, recently made a declaration that he is a Nigerian, not a British-Nigerian.
