Arokodare still dreams Belgian title with Genk despite Weekend’s Setback

Tolu Arokodare says Genk must move on quickly from the defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise and focus on next game.

Genk’s title hope is hanging by a thread after the 3-0 defeat to Union over the weekend.

Arokodare, who featured for fourty-fuve minutes in the encounter, remains optimistic that the title isn’t totally out of reach.

“The disappointment is great. I don’t think Union was much better. But they finished their chances and we didn’t,” remarked the Nigerian Forward.

“We now have to focus on next week. On whether the title is still possible? Certainly. There are still three games to play,” He said.

KRC Genk are four points adrift playoff leaders Royale Antwerp and will play against Union Saint-Gilloise again next Sunday.
