Tolu Arokodare says he’s happy to be back after spending almost three months on the sideline.
Arokodare is gradually working his way to top form as he made a second half appearance against Union Saint-Gilloise on Sunday.
The forward played 45 minutes of the 3-0 defeat at Jan Breydel, and provided solutions to some of Genk’s attacking problems.
“It felt good to be able to fill in, and continue working,”Arokodare told Het Belang Van Limburg.
The Nigerian however is yet to start a game since his return from injury, but he said he’s desperate to help his team and not bothered if he starts or not.
“Whether I’m ready to kick off? Yes. But
whether I start or come on in the last minute, it doesn’t matter to me. All I want to do is help the team,” He said.
Arokodare arrived Genk in January and has scored just once for the team.
