Joe Aribo is set to leave Rangers and his exit could be finalized as early as next week.
Aribo is set to join Premier League side Southampton in a deal worth £10m including add-ons, according to Sky sports.
Sky Sports reported that, the Nigeria international has already agreed to join the Saints ahead of the new season and talks have progressed well with Glasgow Rangers.
The Play maker has a year left on his contract with the Gers and was offered an extension, but has informed club chiefs he won’t be signing a new deal.
The 25-year-old is now poised to complete his exit over the next few days.
Rather than lose him for nothing next summer, it means the Gers will bank a hefty profit on a player they signed from Charlton Athletic for a bargain £300,000 fee in 2019.
Aribo helped Rangers to win the league title two seasons ago and in the last campaign they reached the final of the Europa League and won the Scottish Cup.
