Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun tasted defeat for the first time this season as Glasgow Rangers suffered a 3-2 defeat in the Scottish league cup.
The duo started the match for the Gers against lowly rated St Mirren at the Paisley 2021 stadium on Wednesday.
Rangers took the lead after Connor Goldson fired them ahead early, but the hosts equalised and went in front with Jamie McGrath’s double.
Steven Gerrard’s men restored parity later, thanks to a late goal from Steven Davis, who thought he has sent the game into extra time.
Conor McCarthy however netted the last-minute winner to dump Rangers out of the Scottish League Cup.
The defeat puts an end to Rangers 27-matches unbeaten run and also ended the hope of winning quadruple this season.
Joe Aribo completed 90 minutes, while Leon Balogun was replaced in the 84th minutes.
