Super Eagles striker Anthony Okpotu continued his good form for Qatar Sporting Club when he score against league leaders Al Saad on Monday.
Okpotu scored the goal in the 31st minute of the encounter to earn his a point against the team managed by former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez.
It was his 4th goal in the Qatari Premier League since joining the club from Tunisian Ligue one outfit US Monastir last October.
Meanwhile, penalty from former Arsenal captain Santiago Cazorla canceled out Okpotu’s goal in the 42nd minute.
Okpotu and his teammates remain fourth on the league table with 19 points from 11 matches, while Al Saad extended their lead on the log to eight points ahead of second placed Al Ghafara.
