Anthony Joshua failed in his bid to recapture his heavyweight boxing belt after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.
Haven suffered just the second defeat of his career against the Ukrainian last September, Joshua went into the rematch held in Saudi Arabia as the underdog.
Joshua, 32, showed some aggressiveness and intent in Jedah — a vast improvement from their first fight and led the scorecard- but could not sustained his lead and finish off Usyk.
Usyk later stamped his authority in the ring and took the last three Championship round from the British heavyweight.
While there were some close rounds, the Ukrainian was the deserved winner.
Two judges scored the fight 115-113 and 116-112 to Usyk, while a third judge gave it 115-113 to the challenger.
After the bout, Joshua shocked the whole arena as he went on a rant, and threw two of the three Championship belt out of the ring.
He left the stage in frustration, but soon came back to grab the microphone and address the crowd.
He said : “Usyk is one hell of a f***ing fighter, let’s give him a round of applause,” Joshua said, addressing the fans.
“Sorry guys, look, if you knew my story you’d understand the passion.
“I ain’t no amateur boxer from youth, I was looking at jail.
“I’m stealing this Usyk, I’m sorry but it’s because of the f***ing passion.
