Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi has emerged as transfer target for English Premier League Side Everton FC.

The Toffees want to strengthen their defense before the window closes and have now been linked with the Nigerian left back, over a possible move.

According to A Bola, Everton aren’t the only club, interested in the former Santa Clara’s man, with Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich said to be among his suitors.

Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brighton were also said to be keeping close tabs on the Nigerian first choice.

But, Everton are said to be on the front foot as they’re considered to be genuine with their interest.

Sanusi is valued at £15m by FC Porto and the PL club could put in an official bid for the Super Eagle on Thursday.

The Toffees also want his teammate Otavio Edmilson and a joint bid could be submitted as Everton hopes to make the deal happen before the transfer deadline.

Should the deal go through before the window closes on September 1st, Sanusi would join the long list of Super Eagles stars that changed club this summer.
