Tobi Amusan emerged victorious in the Nigerian women’s 100m hurdles at the Olympics trials held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
The former World Champion powered to the finish line with a time of 12.78 seconds, securing the title for the fourth time.
Amusan, 26, triumphed over her competitor Adaobi Tabugbo, who finished in second place with a time of 13.33 seconds.
The current World record holder is one of the favorites for the Olympic gold medal.
At the last Olympic Games in Tokyo, Amusan missed the podium only just as she crossed the finish line in fourth place.
