Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan successfully defended her 100m hurdles title in the Diamond League final in Zurich on Thursday evening.
Tobi Aumsan sees off a world-class field as the world champion and record-holder clocks a blistering 12.29 (-0.3) to claim the Diamond League title for the second successive season.
Her return time also saw her beat the meeting record set by United States’ Gail Devers 22 years ago.
The World and Commonwealth gold medalist was closely challenged by Tia Jones of the United States of America who ran a personal best of 12.40s and Jamaica’s Britany Anderson who finished third with a time of 12.42s.
Olympics Champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn finished in disappointing 4th place in 12.49s.
