Amusan Beaten in Women’s 100mH Final at Holloway Pro Classic

Tobi Amusan delivered an impressive performance at the Holloway Pro Classic in Florida, finishing second in the women’s 100m hurdles final with a time of 12.60 seconds (-1.7).

Earlier in the day, Amusan won her heat, clocking in at 12.49 seconds, narrowly defeating the United States’ champion, Masai Russell, who finished in 12.51 seconds.

Cindy Sember of Great Britain secured third place in the heat with a time of 12.62 seconds.

Returning for the final a few hours later, Amusan overcame a poor start, flying over the hurdles to clinch second place

She finished just behind the United States’ Grace Stark, who won with a time of 12.58 seconds.

Masai Russell took third place in the final with a time of 12.66 seconds.
