Alex Iwobi will become only the fifth Nigerian to play for Everton, when he suits up for the Toffees in the 2019/20 EPL season.
Iwobi, 23, agreed a five-year deal to join the Everton from Arsenal on transfer deadline day, in England.
Daniel Amokachi, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Joseph Yobo and Victor Anichebe have played for the premier league club.
The former Arsenal player now has a few targets to surpass, including Aiyegbeni’s 25 goals mark and pick up a silverware like Amokachi if he is to also establish a lasting legacy at Goodison Park.
