Former Super Eagles coach, Daniel Amokachi has been appointed to lead NPFL side Lobi Stars.
Lobi Stars FC parted ways with their previous head coach, Eugene Agagbe, following a poor start to the season.
The Pride of Benue currently sit 17th on the league table, with only four points from five matches.
Despite a 1-0 victory over Shooting Stars on Sunday, it wasn’t enough to save Agagbe’s job.
This is Amokachi’s third stint in the Nigerian league, having previously coached FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Nasarawa United.

Amokachi also served as an assistant coach for the Super Eagles under Stephen Keshi.
He is the latest member of the Super Eagles’ class of ’94 to take on a coaching role in the domestic league, following in the footsteps of Finidi George, Emmanuel Amuneke, and Daniel Amokachi.
