Efe Ambrose will continue his playing career with Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship.
The club on Wednesday announced the signing of the former Nigeria international on a short term contract.
Efe Ambrose who joined as a free agent, signing a deal until the end of the season.
“Greenock Morton are delighted to announce the signing of Efe Ambrose on a deal until the end of the season,” a statement on its website read.
The 35 year-old joins the team as a veteran defender, playing almost 200 games in the Scottish Premiership where he won the league with Celtic on 4 occasions.
