Olympic Eagles head Coach Imama Amapakabo will lead the Home-based Super Eagles to Lome, Friday, for the first-leg of a 2020 African Nations Championship qualifying fixture against Togo, on Sunday.
Imama, according to the NFF, will execute the CHAN qualifiers with the Olympic Eagles, who qualified for the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
The team have another pre-AFCON preparatory platform, when they compete at the WAFU Cup of Nations in Thies, Senegal, later this month.
Togo will host the encounter against Nigeria at the Stade de Kegue in the country’s capital city.
Meanwhile, CAF have appointed, Beninoise Adissa Abdou Raphiou Ligali as Center Referee.
His compatriots Eric Ayimavo Ayamr Ulrich, Kodjori Sylvain Ogoudedji and Seraphin Sourou Adounsi Sourou will serve as assistant referee 1, assistant referee 2 and fourth official respectively.
Nigeria finished as runners-up of the last edition of the CHAN in Morocco early last year, having also picked up the bronze medal in South Africa in 2014.
Cameroon will host the 6th African Nations Championship in June 2020.
